In keeping with today's fast-paced information age,
the American Red Cross of the Mohawk Valley announces
it’s participation in the Blended Learning First Aid/CPR/AED
Program — a new way to offer Red Cross first aid, adult
CPR and automated external defibrillation (AED) training.
“Red Cross Blended Learning is flexible
and self-paced and best of all is available online 24
hours a day, seven days a week” says Philip Coffin,
Director Preparedness & Community Services. “Course-takers
have the option of going through the lessons in full
or abbreviated form and can test out of lessons as well.
Web-based training enables course-takers to access courses
at their convenience.”
The first portion of the training is completed
online, so each course participant can take the training
from any computer meeting the minimum operating system
requirements and has internet access. For the second
part of the training, a Red Cross instructor conducts
a skills session where participants' skills are practiced
and assessed.

the Blended Learning program today, contact Philip at
